Archer Had The Opportunity To Be a Part of History!

The 2002 Olympic Caldron is well known throughout Utah and the world; designed to look like an icicle and made of glass, allowing the fire to be seen burning within.

As part of the recent Rice Eccles Ken Garff Performance Zone expansion, the 2002 Olympic cauldron was dismantled and refurbished. Before being reinstalled on top of its new pedestal on the stadium’s southwest corner, Archer fabricated and installed an entirely new gas line to ignite the 20-year-old flame.
