Superintendent

In this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your experience and knowledge by representing one of the top respected mechanical firms in the state of Utah by planning and executing large scale plumbing and mechanical projects. Within this role, you’ll experience the satisfaction of coordinating and working with industry professionals to build extraordinary buildings such as stadiums, schools, high-end office centers and housing complexes, processing facilities, and many more.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 6 years of Mechanical Piping & Plumbing.
  • Required Trade license(s).
  • Proficient in leading projects at every level of construction.
  • Skillful in clear and effective communication between general contractors, numerous departments, vendors, sub-trades, in-house management and field crafts.
  • Sound understanding of industry relative to mechanical design, detailing, model and drawing data exchange, specification compliance, schedule discipline, change management, and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all quality control and quality assurance processes, methods, and requirements are followed.
  • Lead efforts to strengthen the performance on contracted projects encompassing, quality, safety, processes, and supporting healthy client relationship(s)
  • Report all time for crew members.
  • Read, interpret, and redline construction drawings and documents.
  • Assist project manager in identifying RFI’s, forecasting, man loading, and attend job progress meeting.
  • Track and regularly report on all project progress.
  • Track & maintain tooling on projects.
  • Participate in reviews for BIM & construction drawings.
  • Identify & provide solutions to mitigate change orders.
  • Understand and follow all applicable specifications, job submittals, and governing codes.
  • Provide daily reports and align subcontractors, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support mentoring and training of apprentices and other peers by using internal training processes.
  • Acknowledge accomplishments of crew members. Celebrate progress.
  • Maintain and/or improve project schedules.
  • Recognize, report, and plan to prevent problems and resolve potential conflicts.
  • Provide direction for crew(s) including sub-contractor(s)
  • Oversee job site safety to OSHA and Archer standards.
