Journeyman

In this exciting, creativity-centered role, you’ll be working closely with organization leaders to execute new construction projects such as office buildings, central plants, higher education, and various other building types. Within this role, you’ll find an outlet to use creativity and craftsmanship and execute installations of different scopes of work. As the living, breathing backbone of the company, it is the Journeymen’s role to support the apprentices and lead by example throughout the construction process.

Apprentice

In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to learn from the best, attend school to enhance your skillset, and get paid while doing so! You will be working closely with Journeymen to experience firsthand what it means to be a team member at Archer Mechanical. Together, you’ll take part in the construction of plumbing and mechanical systems to bring a building to life.

Journeyman Qualifications

  • Current Drivers License.
  • Proven working experience in practical installations.
  • Leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time, scope, and task management skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Mechanical Piping & Plumbing.
  • Required Trade license(s).
  • Skillful in clear and effective communication between vendors, sub-trades, in-house management and field crafts.
  • Sound understanding of industry relative to mechanical install.
  • Ability to work as a team and successfully collaborate to complete a given task promptly.
  • Safety minded individual.
  • Ability to read project plans and diagrams and follow building code along with project specs
